Meeting or event experience you’ll never forget: An amazing black-tie reception and dinner for 350 people on the 50-yard line in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. It was a quick turnaround, and we had less than a day to execute a beautiful and flawless event. My favorite part was the end of the evening when two women in stunning evening gowns, kicked off their high heels and ran a fierce race the entire length of the football field.
The one New Orleans secret I’m willing to share… On Saturday mornings, the Besthoff Sculpture Garden in New Orleans City Park offers yoga classes. You can downward dog under 600-year-old live oak trees.
Liz is a native New Orleanian and a graduate of Louisiana State University with a degree in elementary education. She has over twenty-five years experience in the hospitality industry, joining the USA Hosts team in 1984. Liz specializes in creative special events, large transportation movements, and incentive, meeting, and convention programs. Liz formerly held the positions of General Manager and Director of Operations. Her leadership within Hosts New Orleans, her uncompromising work ethic, and extraordinary contributions to Hosts New Orleans, as well as the tourism industry, continues to contribute greatly to our successes.
